Background

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract focused on the maintenance painting of apartments, including both interior and exterior public spaces. This initiative aims to enhance the living conditions within various developments across all five boroughs of New York City. The contract includes specific requirements for stairwell painting using FRP and silicate systems.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for maintenance painting services that include: - Interior and exterior painting of apartments and public spaces. - Stairwell painting using specified materials (FRP & Silicate Systems). - The work will be performed in various developments city-wide, covering all five boroughs. - The contractor must provide a performance and payment bond capacity of $5,000,000 for the duration of the contract. - The contractor is required to enroll NYCHA residents as apprentices depending on the value of their bid adjustment factor, in compliance with Section 3 of the Apprenticeship Program.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will continue for an indefinite period as task orders are issued, with a minimum contract value guaranteed at $50,000.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must pre-qualify as an 'Approved Supplier via NYCHA-Technical Services Paint Program' and appear on the active approved vendor list. Bidders are required to submit a completed Pre-Qualification Application Package to NYCHA for evaluation. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements and provide evidence if selected for award.
