Service and Repair of Food Service Kitchen Equipment

Background

The Passaic Board of Education in Passaic, New Jersey, is seeking to enter into a contract for the service and repair of food service kitchen equipment. The goal of this contract is to ensure that various kitchen appliances are maintained and operational for the school district's food services during the specified period.

Work Details

The contractor will provide service and/or repair for the following kitchen equipment: ovens, ranges, steam tables, heat holding cabinets, braisers, kettles, pressure cookers/steamers, tilted skillets, exhaust hoods, combi ovens, and other related equipment. Bidders must demonstrate they have sufficient qualified personnel and equipment to adequately service these items. They must have been in operation for at least five years in servicing and repairing similar equipment.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within the Passaic City School District.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a bid bond of $2,500 along with their proposal. They are required to have a valid Business Registration Certificate from the State of New Jersey. Additionally, bidders must comply with affirmative action requirements and submit necessary forms including a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire/Certification.
