Culvert Pipe Lining

Background

The Talbot County Roads Department is issuing a solicitation for the rehabilitation of existing culvert pipes in various locations throughout Talbot County, Maryland. The goal of this contract is to restore the structural integrity of the culverts, prevent infiltration and exfiltration, and extend their service life through the installation of a UV-cured, in-place pipe liner.

Work Details

The Scope of Work includes the installation of a UV-cured, in-place pipe (CIPP) liner within existing culvert pipes. The liner will be cured using ultraviolet light to create a structural, tight-fitting, corrosion-resistant pipe within the existing pipe. This process aims to restore structural integrity and enhance the longevity of the culverts.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be performed starting from the bid opening date on May 28, 2026, with specific timelines to be determined upon contract award.

Place of Performance

The work will be conducted at various locations throughout Talbot County, Maryland.
