Work Details

The selected entities will provide high dosage tutoring services in mathematics and literacy, adhering to the following requirements: 1. Maximum student-to-tutor ratio of 4:1. 2. Minimum of three 30-minute tutoring sessions per week. 3. Alignment with City Schools' Equity Policy to ensure educational equity. 4. Flexibility to meet individual school needs and support diverse learners, including multilingual students and those with disabilities. 5. Use of quality standards-based tutoring materials informed by pre- and post-assessments. 6. Engagement with stakeholders for problem-solving and meeting student needs. 7. Data collection on attendance, dosage, and academic progress, updated biweekly.

Period of Performance

The anticipated term of the contract is three years from the date of Board approval, with two optional one-year renewals at the discretion of City Schools.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the Baltimore City Public Schools district.

Bidder Requirements

Entities must demonstrate at least three years of experience providing similar services or a minimum of fifteen years of cumulative experience among key personnel. Compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is required. Entities must also submit a State of Maryland Certificate of Good Standing and proof of insurance naming Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners as additional insured.
