Campus Wayfinding Message Updates

Background

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) is seeking proposals from qualified signage contractors to modify and update existing exterior wayfinding signage on its Arnold campus. This initiative is prompted by the renovation of the Florestano building, which will be transformed into the new Student Services Center. The project aims to enhance navigation and accessibility for students and visitors on campus.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: - Modifying existing wayfinding signage to reflect changes due to the renovation of the Florestano building. - Updating signage materials, ensuring compliance with AACC's Signage & Wayfinding Guidelines. - Delivering all work in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP). - Ensuring that all signage is durable, weather-resistant, and visually appealing.

Period of Performance

The contract period is expected to start upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed on July 14, 2026. Substantial completion is required by February 26, 2027, with final completion by March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Anne Arundel Community College’s Arnold campus located at 101 College Parkway, Arnold, Maryland 21012-1895.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must be Maryland-certified local Campus Wayfinding Message Updates contractors with a minimum of five years of experience in similar projects. They must also be currently licensed, bonded, and insured in Maryland. Proposals must include evidence of compliance with licensing and insurance requirements.
