Window Tint for Buildings-SW Region-Mobile

Background

The Alabama Department of Transportation is seeking bids to procure window tinting services for their Mobile Offices. These offices include the Administration Building, District 91 Building, Construction Building, and Project Engineer's Building. The goal of this contract is to enhance the energy efficiency and comfort of these facilities through proper window tinting.

Work Details

The contractor will provide window, door, and glass panel tinting services as outlined in the specifications for the following locations: 1) Administration Building; 2) District 91 Building; 3) Construction Building; 4) Project Engineer's Building. The specific product to be used is 3M Sun Control Ceramic Window Film, Model #CM30. No substitutions will be accepted. A mandatory site visit is required for all suppliers; failure to attend will result in bid rejection.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by June 2, 2026.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Alabama Department of Transportation located at 1701 I-65 West Service Road N., Mobile, AL 36618.

Bidder Requirements

Suppliers must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for May 20, 2026, at 11:00 am. Additionally, suppliers must submit questions through the Alabama Buys Portal by May 27, 2026. Suppliers must also be registered in Alabama Buys to participate in the bidding process.
