Volusia County Small Flooring Installations and Repairs

Background

The County of Volusia is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide small flooring repair and replacement services on an as-needed basis across the county. The goal is to maintain a diverse portfolio of facilities that require ongoing maintenance due to normal wear and operational needs. This solicitation aims to streamline procurement, improve response times, and ensure reliable access to high-quality flooring services.

Work Details

Contractors will provide services including removal, preparation, and installation of various flooring types for projects generally not exceeding 3000 square feet. The focus will be on quality workmanship, timely response, and minimal disruption to County operations. Multiple contractors may be awarded contracts to ensure coverage and flexibility in service delivery.

Period of Performance

The contract will have an initial term of three (3) years with the option for two (2) one-year renewals, contingent upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed countywide within Volusia County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a list of three references from relevant projects completed within the last three years. The project is not subject to local preference provisions due to funding sources. Contractors must comply with applicable Federal Transit Administration regulations and maintain public records as per Florida Statutes.
