The contract involves the restoration of the Blydenburgh Miller's House at Blydenburgh County Park. This is a Single Prime contract. The scope of work includes: - Comprehensive restoration activities to preserve and rehabilitate the historic Blydenburgh Miller's House. - All work must comply with prevailing wage requirements, and OSHA cards are mandatory for all personnel. Background

This project is designated as a PLA (Project Labor Agreement) project. The restoration is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance Suffolk County's historic assets.

Contract Requirements

- MWBE (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise) participation goals: 12% overall, with a 3% goal for MWBE suppliers. - Contractor and all subcontractors must provide insurance coverage as follows:

Commercial General Liability Insurance

$2,000,000 per project and $2,000,000 for products and completed operations. - All insurance must be from companies licensed in New York State and rated A- or better by A.M. Best. - Insurance requirements apply equally to subcontractors, and all must be approved by the County prior to work commencement. - Refer to PDF pages 99-109 (GC25 - GC35) for detailed insurance requirements.
