Scope of Work Requested

Kleeberg Sheet Metal is seeking quotes from NYS Certified Minority-Owned (MBE), Women-Owned (WBE), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOB) firms for subcontracting services on the NYS Life Sciences Public Health Laboratory Project. The work to be completed includes: - Supplying and/or installing HVAC ductwork (supply and return) - Installing duct and pipe insulation - Installing diffusers, grilles, registers, and VAV boxes - Installing fire/smoke dampers and access panels - Providing firestopping at duct penetrations - Participating in BIM coordination - Performing duct cleaning - Supporting testing and balancing activities - Providing commissioning support This work will be performed on Levels 3 and 4 of an active laboratory facility. Background

The NYS Life Sciences Public Health Laboratory Project is governed by prevailing wage requirements and a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Subcontractors must be NYS certified within the commodity code(s) applicable to the work being performed.

Contract Requirements

- Subcontractors must be NYS Certified MBE, WBE, or SDVOB firms - Work must comply with prevailing wage and PLA requirements - SDVOB participation goal: 4.00% - MBE participation goal: 18.00% - WBE participation goal: 12.00%
