Scope of Work Requested

Consigli Construction is seeking expressions of interest from subcontractors for the rehabilitation of Building 39 at the Central New York Psychiatric Center (CNYPC), under the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). The primary objective is to renovate a portion of the CNYPC complex, specifically an existing six-story wing, covering approximately 101,500 gross square feet (GSF). The project is divided into two main phases: - Phase 3A (Enabling Work): This phase must be completed before the main renovation work and will have an expedited bid period. Work includes: - Enabling electrical work to facilitate the relocation of the patient population to a separate wing - Construction of new temporary pantries on floors 3 through 6 to serve patients - Abatement of hazardous materials in the areas designated for temporary pantries - Installation of new partitions, finishes, doors, frames, and hardware - Provision and installation of associated food service equipment - New mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work to support temporary pantries - Phase 3 (Main Renovation): This phase includes: - Abatement of hazardous materials throughout the wing - Structural and non-structural demolition - Installation of new steel - Removal and replacement of existing windows throughout the wing - Roof replacement - Brick fa ade repairs - Complete interior renovation to meet updated programmatic functions, including new food service equipment - Installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems - Site and security improvements (details to be referenced in the attached EOI document)
