Work Details

The contractor will provide temporary staffing for Facility Operations Assistant positions, specifically trained participants from the Central New York ON-RAMP program. The staffing agency must ensure that all staff and subcontractors meet Upstate's health clearance requirements and pass drug tests and criminal background checks before commencing work. The Facility Operations Assistants will perform various tasks including: - Providing visitor information - Inspecting and patrolling areas for safety compliance - Setting up equipment for events - Performing routine maintenance and cleaning tasks - Operating motorized equipment - Collecting parking fees - Directing patrons in parking areas - Leading work crews - Performing general grounds maintenance.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of up to one year, with individual assignments lasting up to nine months per participant.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at SUNY Upstate Medical University located at 750 East Adams Street, Syracuse, NY 13210.

Bidder Requirements

Eligible bidders must be New York State small businesses or certified pursuant to Article 15-A and Article 3 of the NYS Executive Law. Bidders must have been in continuous operation for at least three years and must submit valid NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability insurance certificates along with their proposals.
