Work Requested

NYPA is seeking proposals from qualified service providers and technology vendors to supply Knowledge Management tools and tool suites. The purpose is to enable NYPA and its subcontractors to effectively capture, categorize, and utilize knowledge across the enterprise, supporting ongoing improvement and strategic success. The work includes, but is not limited to: - Providing an Enterprise Knowledge Portal and Knowledge Base that offers a single, unified KM portal for search, navigation, and access to knowledge across key repositories.

Supplying Semantic and Knowledge Asset Creation Tools to

- Establish a cohesive semantic layer for easier management, discovery, and reuse of knowledge across the enterprise, including in AI applications focused on knowledge. - Support efficient creation of reusable knowledge assets from knowledge transfer events. - Delivering a Lessons Learned Management Tool that enables robust documentation and retrieval of insights and experiences from various projects. Suppliers may respond to any or all components; NYPA does not require a single supplier to fulfill every objective. Who is Requesting: The New York Power Authority (NYPA), also referred to as "the Authority."

Background

This Request for Qualification (RFI) is issued to pre-qualify service providers and technologies for NYPA and its subcontractors, as detailed in Attachment 1 of the solicitation. The goal is to enhance enterprise-wide knowledge management and support strategic initiatives.

Contract Requirements

Proposers must furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project, except for those services, materials, and/or equipment specifically identified in the contract documents as being provided by others.

Instructions on Submission

Suppliers are encouraged to submit a proposal even if they are only qualified to deliver a portion of the requirements outlined in the RFI.
