Disposable Sheets, ADOC Agency Agreement

Background

The State of Alabama, through the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, is issuing this solicitation for an annual agreement to supply disposable sheets. The goal of this contract is to provide essential materials that meet the needs of various state agencies, ensuring they have access to high-quality disposable sheets for their operations.

Work Details

The contractor will provide disposable flat sheets measuring 54x90 inches. These sheets are made from a 3-layer polypropylene SMS (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) nonwoven material that is fluid-resistant, guarding against stains and spills. The sheets are latex-free and will be delivered in packs of 50 per case. The specific product referenced is Bob Barker Item #: DFSH5490 or an equivalent product.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award, with the possibility of annual renewals up to a total contract cost of $25,000 or a total time period of five years.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to designated locations within the State of Alabama as specified in the purchase orders issued under this contract.

Bidder Requirements

Suppliers must be registered in Alabama Buys and comply with all applicable state laws and regulations. They must also certify that they are not barred from bidding or entering into a contract with the State of Alabama. Additionally, suppliers must provide proof of compliance with sales tax regulations and may be required to submit documentation such as manufacturer’s reseller authorization and certificates of insurance.
