Cisco Hyperflex Data Platform for MLDSC

Background

The Department of Information Technology is issuing a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) FC0002379 for the acquisition of Cisco Hyperflex Data Platform hardware. This procurement is part of a Small Business Reserve (SBR) initiative, aimed at supporting certified small business vendors in accordance with Maryland state regulations. The contract involves the provision of Cisco Hyperflex Data Platform hardware and associated services, including:

Installation and Training Services

Manufacturer’s Extended Warranty

Security, Cameras, and Associated Peripherals. The Master Contractor must be an authorized reseller for Cisco products and provide new, unused equipment. Specific deliverables include installation services, warranty requirements, and training as outlined in the scope of work.

Period of Performance

The performance period for this contract begins on June 27, 2026, with an initial term of 12 months and may include auto-renewal options.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at 100 Community Place, Crownsville, MD 21032. Delivery will be made to Skyline (Maryland Department of Information Technology), Attn: Brian Kline, located at 6958 Aviation Blvd Suite J, Glen Burnie MD 21061.

Bidder Requirements

This procurement is limited to certified small business vendors under the Small Business Reserve Program. Bidders must submit a Letter of Authorization from Cisco if applicable. Additionally, bidders must provide a Mercury Affidavit confirming whether their products contain mercury. All bids must comply with specific invoicing requirements as outlined in the solicitation.
