Background

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract focused on the maintenance painting of apartments and public spaces, including stairwell painting, across various developments in all five boroughs of New York City. The goal of this contract is to ensure that residential and public areas are maintained to a high standard through regular painting services.

Work Details

The contract includes the following services: - Maintenance painting of apartments, both interior and exterior. - Stairwell painting using FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and Silicate Systems. - The work will be performed in various developments city-wide. - Contractors must provide performance and payment bonds totaling $5,000,000 for the duration of the contract. - The contractor must also comply with an apprenticeship program that enrolls NYCHA residents as apprentices based on the value of the contract.
