Work Clothes For Various Departments

Background

The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to supply work clothes for various departments. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all materials and services provided meet high-quality standards and are delivered promptly to support the operational needs of the County.

Work Details

The contractor will provide various work clothes including boots, waders, gloves, and other apparel. Specific items include:

Item 87

Boots, Knee, Rubber by Rothco #5117 or equal, made of black rubber, 16" high with features such as cushion insole and heavy cleated outsole, available in sizes 9-16.

Item 94

Waders, Chest, Unisex by Cabela’s White River Fly Shop or equal, made of 3.5mm neoprene with lug soles in brown color, available in sizes Small to 3XL. - Gloves: Hi-Viz Yellow M-Pact Leather and TrekDry Full Finger Anti-Vibration Gloves with Hook and Loop Cuff in sizes S-2XL. Additionally, the contractor must provide local tailoring facilities for alterations and adjustments. All merchandise must be new and clean, clearly identified with the Purchase Order Number. The contractor is responsible for ensuring a perfect fit through individual measurements taken at a location satisfactory to the departments involved.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period defined by the County's needs for work clothing supplies as specified in purchase orders throughout the contract duration.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within Ocean County and may include tailoring facilities located in Ocean or Atlantic Counties.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate capability to deliver all orders as issued by the County during the contract period. They are required to provide a list of similar contracts performed in the Ocean County area upon request. Compliance with delivery timelines is critical; unreasonable delays may result in contract rescission.
