Plymouth Trial Court - UPS Replacement

Background

The Massachusetts Trial Court, Office of Court Management, Facilities Management & Capital Planning Department is issuing a contract for the UPS Replacement Project at the Plymouth District Courthouse. The goal of this project is to replace the existing Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system with a new, modern solution that meets current operational needs and provides sufficient power backup during utility outages.

Work Details

The project involves the removal and disposal of existing UPS systems, furnishing and installation of new UPS systems and associated equipment, completion of all required electrical connections and integration with existing systems, rigging and placement of equipment, as well as all startup, testing, and commissioning necessary to ensure the systems are fully operational. The estimated construction cost for this project is $140,450.00.

Period of Performance

The estimated time for completion of the work is forty-five calendar days (45) from the start date specified in the Owner-Contractor Agreement.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Plymouth District Courthouse located at 52 Obery Street, Plymouth MA 02360.

Bidder Requirements

General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Electrical Work. They must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility along with a signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement. All employees to be employed on the project must have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA and of at least 10 hours in duration.
