Background

The City of Hays, Kansas is issuing a solicitation for sealed bids for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer Point Repair and Lining project, identified as COH Project No. 2026-11. The project aims to address sanitary sewer issues within the city, aligning with the city's mission to maintain and improve its infrastructure.

The project consists of both trenchless and open excavation sanitary sewer point repairs at 36 designated locations throughout the City of Hays, KS. Additionally, there may be possible alternates included in the scope of work.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of their total bid amount. For contracts exceeding $100,000.00, a Contract Bond and Payment Bond must be provided in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. Bidders are encouraged to attend a virtual pre-bid meeting scheduled for May 19, 2026.
