Paving Of Brookside Elementary School Parking Lot

Background

The City of Norwalk is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the paving of the parking lots at Brookside Elementary School. The project aims to enhance the safety and accessibility of the school's parking facilities, aligning with the Board of Education's mission to provide a conducive environment for students and staff.

Work Details

The proposed work includes: 1. Performing a 2-inch mill and overlay of the existing front and rear parking lots at Brookside Elementary School located at 382 Highland Ave, Norwalk, CT. 2. Resetting existing structures as depicted in project specifications. 3. Removing and replacing the existing bituminous concrete curb. 4. Installing pavement markings and ADA-compliant ramps. The parking lots will be closed during the duration of the project to ensure safety and efficiency.

Period of Performance

The contract work is scheduled to commence on May 6, 2026, and conclude by May 21, 2026.
