Background

The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is issuing this solicitation for the rehabilitation of a home located in Cherokee County. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for various repair services including: 1. Carpentry: Replace base cabinets with pre-finished oak cabinets, install a new countertop and backsplash, replace interior door trim, and replace wall hung cabinets with new pre-finished oak cabinets. 3. Drywall & Finish: Replace drywall in specified areas, including taping, bedding, texturing, and painting to match existing surfaces. 4. Paint & Finish: Paint walls and ceilings in designated areas with two coats of paint after minor surface repairs. 5. Plumbing: Install a new stainless steel kitchen sink and faucet, remove and replace an existing urinal in bathroom #1, and replace the existing gas water heater with a new unit while ensuring all connections meet code requirements.
