Background

The Department of Human Resources (DHR) is responsible for providing various services across Alabama, including maintenance and management of HVAC systems in its facilities. The goal of this contract is to secure a contractor for quarterly HVAC preventive maintenance services for multiple locations within the Southwest Region 1, specifically focusing on Choctaw, Clarke, and Washington counties.

Work Details

The contractor will provide quarterly preventive maintenance services for HVAC systems at the following locations: 1. DHR Choctaw County: - 8 Split-System American Standard Heat Pumps with Auxiliary Heaters.

Air Handlers

- 1 x 10-ton Model TWE120A300DA (S/N 2282P89511), - 7 x 4-ton Model TWE048C140C0 (S/Ns: 22330852V, 22331HJ2V, 2233KRM2V, 2233KT02V, 2233KU12V, KU72V & KU92V). - Condensers: - 1 x Model TWA120A300EB (S/N 2343YALAD), - 7 x Model 6C0048A300A4 (S/Ns: 220171H4F, 212551X4F, 227221984F, 2272219Y4F, 22722AP4F, 22722B04F, 22722FF4F). - Additionally, there are (5) Exhaust Fans requiring inspection forms A and D to be completed during all quarterly inspections. 2. DHR Clarke County: - (4) Split-System Carrier Gemini AHUs with Auxiliary Heaters. - Models include: - 2 x Model 40RUQA12A2A6A0A0A0 (S/Ns: 1016U21783, 1512U13841), - 1 x Model 40RUQA08A2A6A0A0A0 (S/N: 1812U17786), - 1 x Model 40RFQA12A2A5AUA0A0 (S/N: 4324U28690). - Condensers/Heat Pumps include models such as: - Model numbers include: Model 38AUQD12A0A5A0A0A0 (S/N:1824C10892), Model 38AUQA08A0A5A0A0A0 (S/N:0211620076), and others. - There is also a Carrier Direct Expansion Fan Coil unit with Warren Technology FCU Electric heater. 3. DHR Washington County: - (6) Split System Trane Heat Pumps with Electric Duct Heat. - Air Handlers include models such as: - Model TWE060A300BA (S/N G51170748), and others totaling six units. - Condensers include various models including TWA090D30RAA and others totaling six units. - Additional exhaust fans include one roof-mounted and two ceiling-mounted exhaust fans requiring inspection forms A and D.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will continue through the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations in Choctaw County (1003 S. Mulberry Avenue, Butler, AL), Clarke County (22609 Hwy 84 East, Grove Hill, AL), and Washington County (14921 St. Stephens Avenue, Chatom, AL).

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled on May 22, 2026 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the specified county locations to qualify for bidding.
