Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for elevator repair and maintenance services at the following locations: - 50/100/110 Poydras Street, Hyde Park, MA - 215 Forest Hills Street, Jamaica Plain, MA - 1001 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA Specific tasks include: - Regular monthly visits for visual examinations of elevator equipment in hoistways, pits, overheads, and machine rooms. - Application of proper lubricants to various components. - Maintenance of lubrication on guide rails. - Minor adjustments during monthly visits as needed. - Scheduling state inspections and notifying the school at least three weeks prior to such inspections. All work must comply with federal, state, and municipal laws including the Massachusetts Building Code.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and will expire on June 30, 2027. There is an option to extend the contract for four additional one-year periods.

Services will be performed at Match Charter Public School's facilities located in Hyde Park (50/100/110 Poydras Street), Jamaica Plain (215 Forest Hills Street), and Boston (1001 Commonwealth Avenue), Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have been actively engaged in the elevator contracting business for a minimum of five years. They must carry required insurance as specified in the contract documents. Bidders are also required to provide at least three references from previous clients where they have provided similar services. Compliance with prevailing wage laws is mandatory.
