Fresh Baked Goods

Background

Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Fresh Baked Goods to support district-sponsored meetings and events. The district serves nearly 24,000 students across 32 schools and is committed to developing the whole child through a highly qualified team focused on growth, community, collaboration, innovation, success, and determination. The goal of this contract is to establish a list of pre-approved vendors who can provide fresh baked goods as needed.

Work Details

Vendors are required to provide fresh baked goods for district-sponsored meetings and events on an as-needed basis. The proposal must include details about the types of baked goods offered, such as American, Italian, Mexican, etc., along with specific items like desserts and catering options. Vendors should also specify service options including prepared food for pick-up or delivery with full setup. Additionally, vendors must outline their pricing structure, including any discounts from standard pricing and delivery fees if applicable.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award with an option to renew for four additional years upon mutual consent.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Goose Creek CISD in Baytown and Highlands, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. They are required to submit a completed Form 1295 electronically as part of their proposal. Vendors must also accept District Purchase Orders as valid purchases and agree to payment terms of Net 30 days. Additionally, vendors must disclose any felony convictions as per Texas law.
