Background The Jackie Walorski VA Clinic (JWC) is a VA leased medical facility that provides outpatient services to Veterans. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires complete janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and promote good health care conditions for Veterans, visitors, and staff. This contract aims to ensure that the facility is cleaned according to the standards set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary transportation, labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to clean and maintain cleanliness in accordance with the PWS. Key tasks include: - Cleaning all areas of the clinic including specialized departments such as Audiology, Telehealth, Surgical Specialty Services, and more. - Ensuring compliance with VA Rules and Regulations regarding cleaning standards. - Providing services during specified hours: - Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm; - Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm; - with potential weekend or holiday coverage as needed. - Maintaining a minimum of seven janitorial staff on-site during normal working hours, with at least one supervisor present. - Responding promptly to cleaning requests including spills and restroom maintenance. - Utilizing appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment that meet safety standards and are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). - Conducting monthly inspections by the Contractor Manager to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
