DNR Hydrographic Operations- Buoys

Background

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is issuing this solicitation through its Fishing and Boating Services Hydrographic Operations Division to procure marker buoys. The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of the DNR in managing waterway navigation and safety.

Work Details

The contractor will provide 250 units of Taylor Made MFG #46104 49” X 10” Sur-Mark Marker Buoys with Orange Marking Tape, without labels. No substitutions will be accepted for the specified buoy model. The total bid must include any applicable delivery or shipping fees. The goods must be delivered to the DNR Hydrographic Division at 303 Marine Academy Drive, Stevensville, MD 21666, Attn: Ben Fisher by July 31, 2026.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is until July 31, 2026, with immediate work commencement upon receipt of a signed Purchase Order.

Place of Performance

Delivery will take place at DNR Hydrographic Division, 303 Marine Academy Drive, Stevensville, MD 21666.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered with the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation and in good standing. They must have been in business for at least one year and possess all necessary professional licenses required by the State of Maryland and Federal Government. Bidders must also maintain commercial general liability insurance coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate, along with worker's compensation insurance as required by law.
