The goal of this contract is to provide a reliable heating and cooling system for an area housing incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both staff and inmates.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a complete fan coil unit capable of providing both heating and cooling. Specific tasks include: 1. Furnishing a complete FCU with manufacturer's warranty for parts and a one-year warranty for labor. 2. Submitting a detailed submittal package prior to installation that includes the make and model of the FCU, warranties, total power draw, and proposed placement. 3. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as NFPA codes, National Electrical Code, ANSI, and UL. 4. Installation must include proper placement as per facility-approved drawings, routing refrigerant lines according to safety standards, coordinating electrical work with existing power supply, functional testing post-installation, and site cleanup.
