Neary Roof Replacement Project

Background

The Town of Southborough is issuing a contract for the Roof Replacement at Neary Elementary School. The project aims to replace the existing low roof systems to enhance the building's integrity and performance. The work is guided by documents prepared by SOCOTEC.

Work Details

The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing low roof systems down to the roof deck. The new roof system will be a fully insulated adhered 90 mil EPDM roof system, which includes all necessary flashings and comes with a thirty (30) year warranty. Additional work includes raising the height of existing exhaust fans, roof vents, mini-split systems, and removing and replacing all existing roof drains.

Period of Performance

The general bids will be received until May 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. Work is expected to commence thereafter as per the awarded contract timeline.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at Neary Elementary School located in Southborough, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in roofing work. They must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed sub-bidders must also be DCAMM certified for their respective trades (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical) and include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility along with a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement.
