Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Work Details The contractor shall provide two water trucks with a minimum capacity of 3400 gallons capable of evenly distributing water on the roadway. Tasks include: - Pre-wetting roads (Salmon River Road 60030, Stanley-Landmark 40579, Dagger-Boundary 40568) to support grading and application of dust palliative products. - Providing a means for drafting water and filling the trucks either by onboard pumps or auxiliary pumps at unimproved drafting sites. - Ensuring intake screens meet National Marine Fisheries Service guidelines with a maximum screen opening of 3/32” and maximum approach velocity of 0.2 feet per second. - Operating water trucks as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to maintain optimal road conditions. - Watering services will be billed at an hourly rate as needed throughout the contract duration, starting when watering begins until released by the COR each day. Period of Performance The contract period is from June 1, 2026, to July 10, 2026.
