The 187th Vehicle Management requires repair on an Oshkosh Striker fire truck 06L00344 VIN 10TBKAK176S085734. Right now, the vehicle is inoperable. It will not go into pump mode. The repairs are for the 6 Wet Clutch Pump Drive replacement. These repairs are needed so that this fire truck can become operational to support the 187th Flying mission and the Montgomery Regional AirporT. Background The 187th Vehicle Management is seeking repair services for an inoperable Oshkosh Striker fire truck (VIN 10TBKAK176S085734). The vehicle is currently unable to enter pump mode, which is critical for its operational capability to support the 187th Flying mission and the Montgomery Regional Airport. The goal of this contract is to restore the fire truck to operational status through necessary repairs. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to repair the Osh Kosh Stryker Fire Truck 06L00344. Specific tasks include: 1. Remove the faulty 6” Wet Drive Clutch Pack Assembly and furnish and install a new 6” Wet Drive Clutch Pack Assembly. Perform function testing to ensure proper operations. 2. Complete all travel and transportation required to repair the Osh Kosh Fire Truck and transport it from 187 FW Vehicle Maintenance to the contractor facility for repairs and return it back upon completion. 3. Provide own shop supplies necessary for completing all work required for the repair. 4. Warrant all equipment manufactured and delivered, ensuring all items are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service without charge; repair or replace any defective equipment provided it has been operated within standard procedures. 5. Provide all owner's manuals and specification sheets as applicable. 6. Provide documentation that Certified Emergency Vehicle Technicians are on-site to perform/inspect all maintenance and repair of the vehicle. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at 187 FW Vehicle Maintenance located at 5187 Selma Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36108.
