Track Type Tractor

The Rankin County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for the supply of one or more new Track Type Tractors, each with a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 30,882,000. The work under this contract involves the provision and delivery of these heavy-duty tractors as specified in Bid Number 26-300-12. This solicitation is issued by the Rankin County Board of Supervisors. The contract is being advertised to acquire new, high-capacity track type tractors to meet the operational needs of Rankin County. Participation in an electronic reverse auction for final pricing, following initial unpriced proposal acceptance. Submission instructions: Unpriced bid proposals must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. on May 28, 2026. Proposals can be submitted electronically at www.centralbidding.com or in sealed envelopes labeled as Bid Number 26-300-12, delivered to the Rankin County Board of Supervisors, 211 E. Government Street, Suite A, Brandon, MS 39042. Vendors whose proposals meet the required specifications will be invited to submit priced bids in an electronic reverse auction. The electronic reverse auction will take place on June 4, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at www.centralbidding.com. Bidders may participate online or submit paper bids at the Board of Supervisors' office no later than thirty minutes before the reverse auction begins. Computers and technical assistance will be available at the office for bidders participating in the reverse auction. The reverse auction will end at the stated time unless bid sniping occurs.
