Background The U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a Water Tank Storage Resilience project at Columbus Air Force Base in Lowndes County, Mississippi. The goal of this contract is to enhance the water storage capabilities of the base by erecting a new elevated composite water storage tank and making necessary modifications to the existing water distribution system. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Erecting an elevated composite water storage tank with a capacity of 750 KG. 2. Constructing a paved access road, parking area, and security fence around the new tank. 3. Making modifications to the base's water distribution system to integrate the new tank, including cutting off the old tank and ensuring that flow demands are met in the new configuration. 4. Demolishing the existing 400 KG water storage tank located at facility 842. Period of Performance The contract is expected to be completed within 630 calendar days from the date bids/offers are received.
