Summary (Newest Update)

Background The Army Contracting Command – Anniston Army Depot (ACC-ANAD) is seeking to replace the existing camera monitoring system at the ANAD Test Track, which has reached end-of-life status. The current system, purchased in 2013, has numerous non-operational cameras and inadequate video quality, contributing to safety risks during combat vehicle testing operations. This solicitation aims to establish a new camera system that meets safety and compliance requirements while enhancing operational capabilities. Work Details The contractor will provide a fully operational camera system for the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Test Track. Key requirements include: - The new system must mitigate deficiencies of the existing system by providing comprehensive camera coverage that limits dead spots on the track and covers all access points and pedestrian crossings. - The system should include live feed monitoring capabilities displayed within the test track operator control booth. - It must retain 30 days of recorded data on a local hard disk drive (HDD), with a rollover feature for data deletion after this period. - Accessibility to recorded data for viewing and downloading must be available at any time in case of incidents or accidents. - The contractor will repurpose existing camera locations and provide their power and fiber solution requirements for assessment by the Directorate of Public Works. - Power will be available at designated poles, but contractors must furnish a step-down control transformer to power the cameras, with voltages at pole locations being 277 volts, 120 volts, and 24 volts. - New single-mode fiber will be installed to all poles, including two fiber strands per pole, housed in NEMA-rated waterproof fiber boxes with a Fiber Optic Distribution Panel inside. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, Alabama.
