Call for Art- Cherokee Nation In Treatment Facility near Tahlequah, OK

The Cherokee Nation Cultural & Economic Development is seeking digitally submitted bids for 2D and 3D art for the Cherokee Nation In-Treatment facility located near Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This facility is part of a new state-of-the-art addiction treatment center that aims to provide comprehensive and culturally based treatment services for drug addiction among Cherokee citizens. Work Details

Artists are invited to submit original artwork that fits within a behavioral health environment, promoting healing and reflection. The artwork should incorporate culturally significant themes such as Cherokee traditional stories, important animals and plants, depictions of the seven clans, traditional practices like stickball and stomp dance, southeastern symbolism, and the Cherokee language. Submissions must include an image of the artwork, dimensions, medium, and price. Artists can submit up to 20 pieces but must ensure that all works are completed and culturally authentic. Artwork created with AI must be described in detail in the bid form. Proof of citizenship as a Cherokee Nation citizen is required for submission.
