Background The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, located in Great Falls, MT, is part of the Helena-Lewis & Clark National Forest managed by the USDA Forest Service. The purpose of this contract is to restore the water-tight functions of window assemblies at the center, ensuring the preservation of this historical site. This project is set aside for small business concerns, emphasizing the agency's commitment to supporting local businesses. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: 1) Replace damaged windows; 2) Replace all vinyl weather stripping; 3) Caulk exterior window perimeters; 4) Wash all windows upon completion of work. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the work. Additionally, all waste and excess materials generated during construction must be disposed of off Forest Service lands in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Period of Performance The contractor must commence work within 30 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete all work by September 30, 2026.
