Background The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is issuing a solicitation for janitorial services at the Gulf of America Disaster Response Center (DRC) located in Mobile, Alabama. Work Details The contractor will provide non-personal janitorial services that include labor, supervision, supplies, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for cleaning the NOAA Disaster Response Center. The services will be divided into several line items: 1. Base Year (CLIN 0001): Regular janitorial services for one year. 2. Unscheduled/Emergency Cleaning (CLIN 0002): Hourly rate for emergency cleaning services as needed. 3. Option Year 1 (CLIN 1001 & CLIN 1002): Continuation of regular and emergency cleaning services for an additional year. 4. Option Year 2 (CLIN 2001 & CLIN 2002): Continuation of regular and emergency cleaning services for another year. 5. Option Year 3 (CLIN 3001 & CLIN 3002): Continuation of regular and emergency cleaning services for yet another year. 6. Option Year 4 (CLIN 4001 & CLIN 4002): Final continuation of regular and emergency cleaning services for the last year. Period of Performance The period of performance begins on the date of award and extends through one year with options to extend annually up to four additional years.
