Background The U.S. Department of Justice, specifically the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Operational Technology Division (OTD) Digital Evidence Field Operations Unit (DEFO), intends to procure 25 brand-name Tableau Forensic Write-Blocker kits. This acquisition is essential to support newly certified Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) forensic examiners in their critical work of collecting and preserving digital evidence. Digital Intelligence, Inc., located at 17165 West Glendale Drive, New Berlin, WI 53151, is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required Tableau Write-Blocker product line, which has been validated for use within CART/DEFO operations. Work Details The contract involves the procurement of 25 brand-name Tableau Forensic Write-Blocker kits, which are necessary for various forensic procedures including: - Write-block protection of original digital evidence - Creation, verification, and preservation of forensic images - Forensic wiping of digital media prior to imaging. The required components include: - UltraBlock USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA Forensic Write-Blocker Kit with cables and power supply - UltraBlock PCIe Write-Blocker Kit (includes T7u, power supply, USB 3.0 cable, and 4-inch PCIe cable) - TDA71 PCIe Card SSD Adapter - TDA72 PCIe M.2 SSD Adapter - UltraBlock USB 3.0 Forensic Card Reader (Read-Only and Read/Write modes). The FBI will award a single firm-fixed-price contract for all required components; partial orders or incomplete configurations will not be accepted.
