Replacement of the Roof at Anniston City Hall and Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County

The project involves replacing the roof at Anniston City Hall and the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County using like/kind materials. The library is located at 108 E 10th St. Anniston, AL, and Anniston City Hall is located at 1129 Noble Street, Anniston, AL. The project must be completed within forty-five (45) working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 20, 2026, at Anniston City Hall, and attendance is mandatory for all bidders. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the City of Anniston Public Works Department at 1129 Noble Street, Anniston, AL 36202, or by calling (256) 231-7750. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check amounting to no less than five (5) percent of the bid price, capped at $10,000. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, license number, address, and project name clearly marked. Bids must remain irrevocable for 60 days after submission. Bidders must comply with the provisions of State Law Governing General Contractors as per the Code of Alabama, and must be properly licensed.
