Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority Projects

The Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority is inviting sealed bids for two projects: the installation of an overhead door at the Solids Building and the replacement of an electric furnace in the Solids Building along with three oil furnaces in the Maintenance Barn. The installation work involves a 12x12 exterior insulated rolling door with manual hand-chain and a high efficiency reduction gear hoist. The replacement work includes replacing the existing Carrier furnace in the Solids Building and the oil-fired air units in the Maintenance Barn, ensuring all necessary equipment, piping, and parts are included for a complete job. Bidders must submit their bids by 11:00 A.M. local time on May 13, 2026, at the office of the Engineer, Peters Consultants, Inc. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. All bids must include a Bid Bond of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with their bid. Bids must be submitted using the forms provided by the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority. A hardcopy of the Contract Documents can be inspected for free at the office of the Engineer or at the BAJSA Office. A full set of Contract Documents is available for $45.00, or a PDF can be emailed at no cost. The Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority reserves the right to award the contract to the most responsible bidder and to reject any or all bids as it sees fit.
