PSP Troop C Lewis Run Lawn Care Services

Background

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to meet the needs of the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) for lawn care services at Troop C Lewis Run. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper maintenance of the grounds at the specified location, supporting the agency's mission to maintain public safety and operational readiness.

Work Details

The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform monthly lawn care maintenance at the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C Lewis Run location. The services include: 1. Mowing - Weekly mowing starting in April, with trimming around walkways, parking lots, buildings, signs, and impound lot. If a week is missed, clippings must be bagged during the next cut. 2. Weed Control - Monthly weed control during the cutting season, including spraying weed killer and pulling weeds from rock beds/landscaping. Special attention must be given to weed control inside the impound lot to keep weeds off the fence. The contractor must supply all necessary equipment and remove all clippings and debris from the premises.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective upon a valid purchase order for a period of five (5) years.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be certified as a Small Business through the Department of General Services’ self-certification process at www.smallbusiness.pa.gov at the time of bid opening. A signed site visit form must be submitted with bids. Proof of insurance listing PSP as certificate holder and including language as additional insured must also be uploaded with bid submission.
