The county is seeking bids for On-Call Door Services to support various departments within its organizational structure. This structure provides a full range of municipal services including public safety and public works. The goal of this contract is to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable operation of door systems across county facilities. Work Details The successful bidder shall provide maintenance, service, repairs, replacement, sales, and installation for various types of doors including: - Overhead Sectional/Rolling Steel (wood, steel, aluminum insulated and non-insulated) - Carriage House doors - Custom Wood doors - Interior/Exterior Commercial doors (hollow metal, stainless steel, glass, aluminum, wood) - Manual/operator-assisted doors. Specific tasks include: - Scheduled maintenance inspections and adjustments for door alignment and hardware; - ADA compliance checks and retrofitting; - Emergency response within four business hours; - Warranty on workmanship and materials for one year; - Maintaining appropriate staffing levels for superior customer service; - Providing an after-hours contact; - Ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Period of Performance The contract period will commence following Board approval and will last for three years with two optional one-year renewals. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations throughout Sedgwick County in Kansas.
