The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is seeking a qualified vendor to support a 2026 Capital Improvement Project for Catamaran Court Apartments. Background The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is initiating a Capital Improvement Project for the Catamaran Court Apartments. This project aims to maintain and enhance the quality and longevity of its housing portfolio. It is designed to ensure safe, high-quality, and sustainable housing for residents, aligning with BCHA's mission to provide affordable housing solutions. Work Details The scope of work includes various exterior repairs at the Catamaran Court Apartments located at 6653-6697 Kalua Road, Boulder, Colorado. Key tasks include: 1. Mobilization and general conditions; 2. Minor site improvements such as replacing entrance signs and trash enclosure pickets; 3. Removal of existing privacy fences; 4. Replacement of playground equipment with a specified allowance; 5. Repairing parking lot concrete and asphalt paving, including full-depth asphalt replacement and milling; 6. Sidewalk repairs and replacements; 7. Removal and replacement of siding, trim, windows, and entry doors; 8. Installation of ADA-compliant features including signage and sidewalk modifications; 9. Painting of replaced siding and trim; 10. Installation of new chain link fencing with privacy slats as an alternate option. Period of Performance The contract work is expected to commence upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within a specified number of calendar days as indicated in the bid submission.
