Background The Fayetteville National Cemetery is undertaking a National Shrine Project aimed at honoring veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service. Work Details The contractor is required to furnish labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the following tasks: 1. Remove, raise, realign, reset, and clean designated upright marble headstones in Sections 25A, 25B, 25C, 30, and 30A (total of 858 headstones). This includes surveying and installation. 2. Level topsoil surface and renovate turf grass stand in Sections 25A, 25B, 25C, 30, and 30A (total area of 42,620 square feet). 3. Demo and install a new irrigation system for Section 30 and Section 30A (each section on a separate zone). All work must be completed as specified in the contract terms and accepted by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) before proceeding to the next burial section. Period of Performance The contract period will commence upon award and will continue until all specified tasks are completed as outlined in the Statement of Work.
