Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is seeking firm-fixed-price construction services for improvements at the Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery located in Johnston County, Oklahoma. The goal of the contract is to support ongoing hatchery operations by replacing existing concrete pond kettles with new reinforced concrete kettles, which includes associated structural components and necessary infrastructure upgrades. Work Details The work includes: 1. Demolition of two existing concrete pond kettles and construction of new reinforced concrete replacement kettles, including retaining walls as shown on the plans. 2. Earthwork involving installation of compacted fill and reshaping of pond side-slopes to ensure a smooth and uniform slope and proper subgrade preparation beneath the kettles. 3. Construction of new kettles at specified elevations as per the contract drawings. 4. Replacement of existing drainage and water supply lines with new systems as indicated in the plans. All work must comply with contract requirements while maintaining hatchery operations to the maximum extent practicable. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, expected to start on June 2, 2026, and conclude by September 30, 2026.
