Background The Larned Correctional Facility (LCF) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors for the rental and servicing of Portable Toilet Units. This initiative aims to ensure adequate sanitation facilities are available for the facility's operations, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and inmates. Work Details The contract requires the vendor to provide rental and servicing of Portable Toilet Units. This includes regular maintenance, cleaning, and restocking of supplies as necessary to ensure the units are functional and hygienic. The vendor must also ensure timely delivery and setup of the units at designated locations within the facility. Period of Performance The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and will conclude on June 30, 2027. There is an option to renew the contract for three additional twelve-month periods based on performance and mutual agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Larned Correctional Facility located in Larned, Kansas. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be registered with the State of Kansas prior to bid submission. They must provide a Tax Clearance Certificate, comply with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements, and certify that they are not engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel. Additionally, bidders should have a minimum of five years of experience in providing similar services.
