Background The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of five (5) storage sheds. The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire storage solutions that meet specific requirements outlined in the attached specifications. ITD aims to ensure that the selected vendor can provide high-quality products that align with their operational needs. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of five (5) new, fully assembled storage sheds with the following specifications: - Each shed must have dimensions of 12 ft width, 20 ft length, and an 8 ft wall height, totaling a floor area of 240 sq ft. - The structural frame must include treated floor joists and OSB decking, wall framing with studs and bracing, and ranch-style rafters designed to support local snow loads. - The roof should be covered with asphalt shingles rated for 20 years, equipped with gable vents for ventilation. - The exterior must feature T1-11 siding, painted wood trim, and weatherproofing. - Each shed will have double barn-style doors measuring at least 4 ft wide by 6 ft 7 in tall. - Additionally, all necessary parts for complete functionality must be included. Delivery is expected within 60 calendar days after acceptance of the order. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be authorized distributors or manufacturers of the proposed sheds and provide documentation demonstrating compliance with all specifications outlined in the solicitation. A warranty covering a minimum period of twelve (12) months after acceptance is required. Vendors must also provide proof of insurance as specified in Attachment 5 – Insurance Requirement.
