Background The Kansas Department of Revenue is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide Janitorial Services for the Kansas Driver’s License Examination Office located in Concordia. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services, which include but are not limited to: daily cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, and common areas; dusting and sanitizing surfaces; vacuuming carpets and mopping floors; waste disposal; and replenishing supplies such as soap and paper towels. The contractor must ensure that all cleaning products used are environmentally friendly and comply with safety regulations. Specific tasks may include: - Daily cleaning of floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming) - Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms - Dusting furniture and fixtures - Emptying trash receptacles - Cleaning windows and glass surfaces as needed. Period of Performance The contract will commence on September 1, 2026, and will continue through August 31, 2031. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the Kansas Driver’s License Examination Office located in Concordia, Kansas. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with specific requirements including holding a valid Tax Clearance Certificate from the Kansas Department of Revenue. Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel as per HB 2482. Contractors must also adhere to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) regarding employment verification.
