Work Details The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, and bonding necessary for the completion of the project. Key tasks include: 1. **Concrete Replacement**: Replace miscellaneous concrete items such as curb and gutter, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps, drive approaches, and waterways before milling or paving activities. 2. **Landscaping**: Coordinate with homeowners/businesses during construction and restore all disturbed areas to pre-existing conditions within specified timeframes. 3. **Milling**: Mill the entire paved width of 1300 E from Sego Lily Drive through the 10600 South intersection with a depth of 3 inches (2.5 inches at gutters). Traffic control measures must be implemented during this process. 4. **Paving**: Submit a paving plan for approval; overlay with a minimum thickness of 3 inches using specified bituminous material within 24 hours of milling operations. 5. **Utility Work**: Lower utilities as necessary and ensure proper cleaning post-utility work. 6. **Striping**: Complete pavement striping in accordance with MUTCD specifications using approved materials. Period of Performance The contract work is expected to commence within 10 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 120 calendar days. Place of Performance The work will be performed on 1300 East between Sego Lily Drive to 10600 South in Sandy City, Utah. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be properly licensed in Utah and provide a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount along with performance and payment bonds each equaling 100% of the contract price upon award. Bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors for approval if they intend to subcontract more than 50% of the work.
