Work Details The contract involves conducting a comprehensive statewide needs assessment to identify vulnerable CAHs and providing financial education through workshops. Additionally, it includes assisting CAHs in identifying market opportunities, offering billing and coding courses, and conducting chargemaster reviews. Specific deliverables include: 1. A needs assessment identifying at least twelve vulnerable hospitals for chargemaster reviews. 2. Conducting two semi-annual roundtable meetings for hospital CFOs. 3. Assisting at least six selected CAHs with market assessments. 4. Providing billing and coding courses at least twice a year. 5. Conducting two chargemaster reviews for six CAHs with tracking of outcomes. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over the fiscal year 2026, starting from the date of award until June 30, 2026. Place of Performance The services will be performed throughout the state of Mississippi, with specific activities requiring in-person attendance at designated locations. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have been in business for at least fifteen years providing similar services. They must be registered to do business in Mississippi and comply with all applicable laws. Bidders are required to provide notarized copies of all valid licenses and certifications required for performance of work, submit independently audited financial statements, and ensure professional liability insurance coverage.
