Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract to procure five Nihon Kohden NKV-330 non-invasive ventilators. The current non-invasive ventilators (Respironics V-60) are no longer supported, with an end of use date set for 2029 or earlier based on supply availability. This procurement aims to replace ten existing units between FY 2026 and FY 2030, thereby upgrading the ventilation system at the Boise VAMC in Boise, ID. The goal is to improve patient care and safety while ensuring a reliable end-user experience. Work Details The contractor must provide the following: - Five (5) Nihon Kohden NKV-330 non-invasive ventilators. - All necessary tools, equipment/hardware, software, licenses, installation, maintenance, warranty, and training. - Equipment must be new, state-of-the-art, and not recertified or refurbished. - Compliance with current facility requirements for allowable operating system platforms is mandatory. - Equipment must meet industry standards for ventilation systems. Specific equipment minimum requirements include: - Integrated dual HEPA filtration. - Integrated ETCO2 and SpO2 monitoring. - High flow oxygen therapy software as a standard option. - Full disclosure with 72 hours of continuous waveforms stored. - Must not be under FDA recall. Period of Performance The period of performance is expected to span from FY 2026 to FY 2030 for the replacement of existing units. Place of Performance The products will be delivered and installed at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), located in Boise, Idaho.
