Background The contract is issued for the provision of a Joint Lightweight Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) driving simulator. The agency aims to enhance training capabilities for personnel operating JLTVs, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world scenarios. The goal of the contract is to deliver a fully functional simulator that meets specific operational requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Work Details The seller shall provide one (1) new JLTV driving simulator assembly, which must include: - Three (3) 55” LED flat screen displays with a 225º field-of-view - Remote controlled side-view mirror adjustment - A virtual training environment featuring paved areas, dirt roads, and off-road terrains - A package of introductory training scenarios - True Steer™ digital servo steering system - 6-speed automatic transmission - Two-way radio communication system - Simulated functional Driver’s Side Display Unit (DSDU) - Authentic OEM parts including steering column, throttle and brake pedals, seat with harness, and various instruments and controls - A 3 Degree of Freedom motion system - A desk with a computer, two flat screen displays, keyboard, and mouse - Situation display for instructor view - Dispatch radio for two-way communication - Comprehensive user’s guide. All components must be new and fully functional upon delivery. Period of Performance Delivery must occur within 90 days after contract award. Place of Performance The location for installation of the JLTV driving simulator will be determined upon contract award.
